Learn-To-Play Clinic (Level 1)
Recommended ages: 4-6
Our Learn-To-Play Clinics are derived from Golf Canada’s Long-Term Player Development Program. They introduce boys and girls to the game of golf in a fun, innovative and non-judgmental environment. Level 1 covers basic swing concepts including grip, posture, ball position and stroke, with an introduction to putting and chipping. There are also balance, agility and mobility exercises – to build general athleticism. At completion, we conduct a full evaluation to position our juniors in the appropriate programs moving forward. BLUE bracelet awarded upon passing Level 1 evaluation.
Learn To Play (Level 2)
Recommended ages: 7-9
Level 2 Learn-To-Play Clinic follows Golf Canada’s Long Term Player Development pathway. Building on their momentum from Level 1 Clinic, juniors gain mastery of all the rules of golf and basic golf etiquette. Bunker play, fairway woods and pitching are covered, along with balance, agility and mobility exercises to promote total athleticism. Strong emphasis is placed on sportsmanship, friendship and, of course, swinging the golf club fast! At program completion, our standard evaluation is undertaken. BLUE bracelet awarded upon passing Level 2 Clinic.
Learn To Play (Level 3)
Recommended ages: 10-12
Level 3 reinforces fundamental movement skills, folding them into introductory competitive experiences. Participants enjoy simulated competition in a comfortable environment enabling young players to refine their technique, gain course management strategies and use their imagination and sense of play. BLUE Bracelet with YELLOW STRIPE awarded upon passing Level 3 Clinic.
